This small bowl weighs in at 3.7 ounces and is 4 ¾ inches wide, 1 7/8 inches tall, and has a bowl depth of 1 ¾ inches with straight sides, leaving more room at the bottom of the bowl. This bowl has an interesting grain pattern with medullary rays showing on the inside and outside of the bowl walls. The bowl does have some small cracks that have been stabilized with cyanoacrylate glue. They are hard to see, because they are in line with the medullary rays.
The bowl is finished with mineral oil and bees wax. To care for this bowl, apply a thin coating of mineral oil to the surface with a soft cloth when the bowl begins to turn a lighter color and looks dry.
